Nashville

Nashville is one of the biggest tourist cities in the state of Tennessee – aside from its status as one of this country’s premier music cities, it also boasts some opulent and beautiful plantation-era mansions, great museums, world-class universities, and is also the state capitol. And lest you think the only music you will hear in this city is country, you should know that Nashville is known as a haven for all kinds of music. All of these things make it a great city to visit, which is why it is so great that there are so many cheap hotels in Nashville.

Many of the cheap hotels in Nashville, not to mention the more high-end or even mid-range hotels in the city, are branches of the big hotel chains that have locations all over the glove. This means that you can rest assured that even though the price is not high, you can expect a certain level of quality. Be aware of where you hotel is in the city, however, as it is likely you will need a car to get around if your hotel is not located close to the major sights.

One of the most famous attractions in Nashville is the Grand Ole Opry, which has been in operation since the 1920s, and even if you are not a huge fan of country music it makes a great stop on any itinerary. There are a few plantation mansions which have been restored and which are very cool to tour. The city also has some fun museums, including the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Music Valley Wax Museum! And for a unique treat, take in a dinner show aboard the General Jackson paddlewheel show boat.

A few of the cheap hotels in Nashville you should consider for your trip are Best Western Music Row (in the heart of Music Row, 1 mile from city center, free continental breakfast, pet friendly hotel, internet access available, outdoor pool, laundry facilities, on-site cocktail lounge), Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville (in downtown, 144 rooms, free breakfast buffet, pet friendly hotel, free WiFi & internet access available, outdoor pool, self parking, airport transfer available), ClubHouse Inn & Suites (near many city attractions, free hot breakfast buffet, free evening manager’s reception 6 days a week, free coffee all day, free internet access, indoor whirlpool, fitness center, outdoor pool, free airport transfer during certain hours, free parking), Nashville Downtown Hilton (in downtown, across from Convention Center, 330 rooms, all suites hotel, on-site restaurants & bar, internet access available, indoor pool, fitness center, valet parking available), and Nashville GuestHouse Inn & Suites (in midtown, 1.25 miles from downtown, free continental breakfast, free parking, free WiFi access).
