The stories that involve the town of Paphos are probably larger than the town itself. This little beachside town is on the southwestern tip of the Greek part of Cyprus, and while it may be relatively small it is still a major tourist attraction in the area because it is said to be where the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite, was born.
