When people hear the word “Oxford,” it is not surprising that they often think of dictionaries, university and a truly proper English accent. This city is home of England’s oldest university, which is also one of the world’s most famous houses of higher education, but the city itself dates back to the 8th century. Visitors today remain captivated by this charming town, and it is easy to see why. Many of the cheaper beds in Oxford are going to be in B&Bs and guest houses, so if you want to expand your search to include those accommodation options you may be able to find some really charming places to stay.
