Although Capri is more famous, Ischia is undoubtedly the most beautiful island in the gulf of Naples. It’s also the largest, spreading over 47 sq km and offering 32 km of coastline. It doesn’t really matter where you decide to stay on the island since the public transport (or walking) can help you get from one place to another.
You should also keep in mind that the warm weather lasts between April and October, with July and August being the peak tourist season. That’s when the island is very crowded and the prices are at their highest.
