Cheap Hotels in Cocoa Beach

Whether or not you have even heard of Cocoa Beach, if you are of a certain generation you may be more familiar with it than you realize. This central Florida town was where “I Dream of Jeannie” was set, but even without that famous link this is a town that has been a wildly popular vacation spot for years. And in addition to the attraction of beach of the town’s name, this is also a great base from which to visit Cape Canaveral nearby. Having a rental car is a good idea in this part of Florida, because even though visiting this beach town itself probably does not require the use of a car you will undoubtedly want to get out of town at some point and explore further afield. In town you will also find a few shops, bars, and restaurants; there is even a part of the town of Cocoa known as “Historic Cocoa Village,” which may be a bit touristy but it has a charming feel and is a nice place to while away an afternoon.
