Ireland’s Medieval capital, Kilkenny is located on the “sunny” south east end of Ireland. Kilkenny plays host to a major concert in the local stadium, where big names like Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton and Rod Stewart have played in the past. However, most visitors to Kilkenny will spend at least some time out at the bars taking in a good pint and soaking up some of the local Irish boozing culture.

Kilkenny is a small city, making it easy to stay within stumbling distance of the many popular pubs.
