The Ramada in Las Vegas

There are literally thousands of hotels and motels in Las Vegas. Why bother staying at the Ramada Las Vegas Speedway? Because it’s not like many other hotels in Las Vegas. For one thing, it allows pets. You do have to pay an extra fee for bringing Fido or Fluffy along, but that’s better than sleeping in the car. This is a real break for people who have to travel with pets for emergencies or for competing in shows.

While not partying with your pets in the luxurious rooms, you can head to one of the clubs, California Dreamin’ or The Finish Line. They’re open 24 ours a day in keeping with Las Vegas tradition. The Ramada is a magnet for many NASCAR fans, so if you are into NASCAR, you’ll probably soon find someone to talk to. The world famous Las Vegas Speedway is nearby, after all.

What other little extras draw people to the Ramada Las Vegas Speedway? The Ramada realizes that not all people are alike. If you ask, you can get extra amenities like wheelchairs, closets big enough for someone in a wheelchair to get into and ground level floors for those guests who find stairs painful.

Other special amenities include DVD players, microwave ovens, refrigerators, laundry facilities and high speed Internet access. There are also the usual amenities found in all of the rooms like hairdryers, ironing boards, coffeepots and walking distance to refreshing swimming pools and Rookies Bar and Grill, also open 24 hours a day.

What about gambling facilities? Would it be a Las Vegas hotel without a place to gamble? You walk right from the lobby into the Speedway Casino, open 24 hours a day. Ramada boasts that the Speedway Casino has the friendliest staff in the city.

Another thing is the Ramada chain of hotels is famous worldwide and is part of the Wyndham Worldwide conglomerate of hotel chains. This is a company that’s financially stable and not liable to go out of business by the time you arrive in Las Vegas. Also, because it’s such a big company, they often offer many discounts online and through your favorite travel agent.

Almost nobody pays full price when staying at a Ramada. If you often stay at any of the other Wyndham chains like Days Inn, Travelodge or Howard Johnson’s, then seriously consider signing up for the Wyndham Rewards Points program for free nights at places like the Ramada.
