When you think of Las Vegas one of the first hotels that comes to mind is Caesars Palace. This hotel has just about anything you could possibly want in a Vegas vacation. With over three thousand rooms there is more then enough room to accommodate anyone. Opened in 1966 it is one of the most successful and longest standing hotels on the main strip. While other hotels come and go, Caesars continues to stand and draw people in.
One of the considerations when looking at hotels in Las Vegas is what are the gambling and gaming facilities like. Bar none Caesars has one of the most popular gaming floors in all of Las Vegas. They have hosted events like the World Series of Poker as well as WPT events. If you have not played a hand at Caesars than you can not really consider yourself to be a gambler.
After the gambling the next most important activity in Las Vegas is eating. Here again Caesars has very few rivals with restaurants from noted celebrity chefs Wolfgang Puck and Bobby Flay on the premises. There are many other high quality eateries right in the Palace and you will not have to go far to find a high quality meal worthy of a king, or in this case an emperor.
Another important consideration when looking at your resort destination is what kind of shopping is available. Caesars has a connected mall called The Forum Shops at Caesars. With over 160 shops catering to luxury this is one of the biggest attractions in all of Vegas. Over six hundred thousand square feet of shopping space await you and even the most addicted shopper will find it hard to satiate their appetite.
Lastly is the entertainment aspect. Whether you are looking to see a top rated fight or a big time production, everyone dreams of playing Caesars palace, except for maybe Evil Knieval. Recent acts have included Elton John, Celine Dion, and Cirque de Soliel. Currently Bette Midler will be performing in replacement of Dion. She is expected to do about 100 shows a year. In addition to her Elton John will be doing his Red Piano show fifty times opposite of Midler. It has also been rumored that Cher may be staging a farewell tour and will be playing exclusively at Caesars.
In Las Vegas there are very few, if any, hotels that can compete with Caesars on any level. Take a trip out and you too may get to see the Emperor and Cleopatra in all of their glory.
